My Name is Shaun Sterland I am the Catering Development Manager for Stride based in Leicester. I oversee the catering operations for the company at various sites they operate from, and along with my support team colleagues from stride catering bring many years of experience to you from across the industry.

We have developed a Deli Style Café based at cobden street called The Learning Café or TLC.

It is here that trained staff will work alongside and train TLC Learners to develop a fully functioning catering department offering a variety freshly prepared sandwiches & wraps, pastries with assorted hot snacks and salads too!

At stride we are committed to working together with the Leicestershire and Rutland Probation Trust LRPT to provide a social enterprise Training facility and develop links to the catering industry. ( web link)

Adam Having Studied at Michigan State University, has also been working as a Chef in kitchens over the last 10 years, he has worked in a variety of ethnic restaurants in America and England including Mexican, asian Fusion, American grill and most recently at barceloneta here in Leicester.

We have prepared a sample buffet menu selector for you, and are available to discuss all your catering requirements you may need, along with any specialist dietary needs.

All our finger buffets consist of a selection of assorted sandwiches ( meat, fish & vegetarian) and have a variety of snack & savoury items along with homemade cakes, pastries and fresh fruit. In addition to these we can offer a “ hot food “ buffet to give variety to your event.

We Also provide all the buffets for the Probation Service for the Leicester and Rutland area, and in house departments along with other events in the city and county, and this service is growing rapidly as the word gets around that TLC FOODS are available for all your events.
